Q: What are Runes?

A: Аt Hero level 15 you unlock a runic amulet where you can put various Runes to customize your hero, increase their stats, and make them more powerful.

Q: How to create a Rune Word (Rune Set)?

A: If you insert 2 or 4 runes with the same pictogram (Rune type), you get a Rune Word that grants you an extra bonus for a stat depending on the Rune type. You can even have several rune words per Amulet:

Q: Why should I upgrade runes?

A: By upgrading a Rune you increase the rune’s main stat. For every 4 levels of the upgrade the rune gets an extra stat.

Q: How to make my heroes quicker?

A: The turn order depends on the hero's speed stat. to make it better, it’s best to increase the speed runes of the hero.

Q: How does Potency vs Tenacity work?

A: Potency affects the chance to apply combat effects to enemies Tenacity affects the chance to resist combat effects from enemies.
